We loved every minute of of this shoot! Great couple, beautiful smiles and stunning weather.
Fallon and Des were married in the beautiful little town of Wartburg. Their wedding was such a sincere celebration of their union and such a relaxed day which ran so smoothly due to Fallon’s excellent organizational skills!
Such a beautiful day with the most glorious sunlight, amazing scenery and such a fun bridal party.
Thorsten & Thabi were married in Germany a couple of months before their wedding in South Africa, we got to see some of their German wedding photo’s on Thorsten’s phone..which in all honesty was a little intimidating to see as the pics were absolutely amazing. We felt privileged to be part of their special day here in South Africa and to be able to capture their memories and special moments with family and friends.
S’the & Slie were married in the beautiful Midlands. The day started with the promise of a little sunshine but soon the skies changed and the day turned icy cold. Each wedding is different with its own atmosphere and a mix of people who all have their own unique personalities..
S’the and Slie made sure that their wedding day was filled with a lot of laughter, fun and happiness, these two have a bond that radiates their love for each other!
These are some of their coffee table book pages. Our books are printed in India.
“Deep within each heart, there lies a magic spark that lights the fire of our imagination…”
In South Africa today, there are thousands of children, whose only dream is to have a childhood without pain. Because of their medical condition, they are limited to being bedridden or wheelchair bound and many of them may never reach adulthood.
At Reach For A Dream every day is spent working with children between the ages of 3 and 18 who are fighting life-threatening illnesses. They strive to fulfill the dreams of these children across South Africa, who have been diagnosed with illnesses such as cancer, cystic fibrosis, heart conditions and renal failure, to name a few.
Reach for a Dream believes in inspiring hope and fulfilling dreams. Childhood should be the most magical phase of one’s life. For children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, the magic is easily lost. Reach For A Dream tries to alleviate some of the emotional, physical and financial strain of dealing with their illness by creating magical moments that last a lifetime.
“The power of a dream is the faith in things unseen. It is the courage to embrace your fear, no matter where you are, to reach your star and to realize the power of your dream…”
Making the dream a truly memorable and magical experience is the most important aspect to Reach for a Dream

Please keep the little children and their parents in your prayers and in your hearts.
Lovely shoot with G on Saturday, amazing weather, awesome setting and a stunning model.
The Second day of Dusi saw us getting up at 4 in the morning to secure a nice spot for photography. The early morning was fine but the heat became unbearable so no idea how the paddlers coped. This next line was copied from Kierran Allan Photography’s Blog at : “Light was not on our side at all today making it hard for guys who shoot Canon to get any shots in at all……”I think I might have just opened a can of worms”. Uhm, Yes Kierran!! At least the guys with Canon got the shot of the leaders on this particular day! Just saying!
We have decided that before the end of 2013 we want to do a purge of all our photos taken through the years not an easy task if you take in consideration that we have photographed almost 3000 models and that we have about 10 hard drives to work through. It is a long slow process but also an eye opener to see where we started back in 1996 to where we are today. We thought we put some portraits/beauty head shots up as we go.
It was Idols time in Pmb . We had the pleasure of being commissioned to photograph, Elvis Blue 2010 Idols winner, Dave van Vuuren 2011 Idols winner and Lloyd Cele runner up 2010 on Friday 28th October 2011. Had great fun considering the weather being wet, we pushed the 5D Mk II to its limits as well as the 1D Mk II both performed faultlessly.
Now, traditionally Spring is a happy day when companies and people wear bright, joyful colours. SA should all wear black on Spring, 1st September and tie a black ribbon to the right hand mirror of their vehicles or motorbikes. The idea is that it should symbolise the following;
a) We are fed-up with poachers and the leniency showed in their prosecution and sentences including affording them bail.
b) In memory of ABSA and all the other Rhino’s that were killed so senseless for their horns.
c) To symbolise that the future is black for our Rhino population because our government shows lack of interest in fighting this?
Please, please wear BLACK on 1st September 2011 and tie a BLACK ribbon around the right hand mirror of your vehicle. Spread the word. PLEASE join in this campaign! If you have contacts in the media – please help us
